Are you interested in joining PCYC?

Our membership is capped at 350. New members are admitted in the spring. Children of current members have first priority on our waiting list.

Two PCYC members in good standing must nominate you for consideration as a PCYC member (two member signatures are required on your application form). A background check may be conducted at the discretion of the Board of Directors. New members are admitted subject to approval of the Board of Directors.

You do not have to own a boat to become a member. To be honest, there is quite a long waiting list for a PCYC marina slip and yard storage. There are large mooring fields in Salem Harbor with some availability. We do have a travel lift for launch and haul.

You will need to affix a photograph to your application, and submit same with a non-refundable application fee.

New members are on probation for their first full year.

Members must have 5 full years in the Club to have full-membership (ownership) status.

All members must put in 16 hours of volunteer time annually with the Club by December 31st (or pay a $320 work assessment fee).  New members have until their anniversary date to complete their work hours. Slip owners must also perform annual work for the marina committee.

Members who wish to change their membership type or resign from the Club must submit their request in writing to the PCYC Secretary; these requests are subject to Board approval. If a member resigns in good standing, he or she may return without incurring another impact fee.
